{"id":7942,"date":"2025-07-04T16:39:44","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T23:39:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wandering.earth\/?p=7942"},"modified":"2025-11-01T20:46:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T03:46:36","slug":"mt-shasta-from-avalanche-gulch-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wandering.earth\/index.php\/2025\/07\/04\/mt-shasta-from-avalanche-gulch-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Mt Shasta from Avalanche Gulch (again) &#8211; May 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>So, my attempts to climb Mt Shasta in late spring snow conditions via Avalanche Gulch had me trying to climb it once again for the 4th time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, after only hiking to Horse Camp and staying a night camping there, my left knee was painful and that was enough to make me abort.
