I decided to get an app for my phone so I could determine what everything was and also to identify the poisonous plants and any dangerous animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I especially wanted to be on the lookout for poodle dog bush, which is particularly poisonous to the touch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I got the \u2018iNaturalist\u2019 app. It worked pretty good and helped me identify a good deal of what I saw. I was even surprised that it was able to tell me what kind of animal left particular feces\/dung. I was able to verify the presence of American black bears by their droppings on the trail.
