Mile 239.9 to 251.0 – 10.95 miles total hiked

Not much to say about about this day. Compared to the last two days, making my way through the destruction of the Mission Creek canyon, I expected it to be pretty uneventful and stress free. Just don’t need to carry enough water for the 16 mile water carry and for dinner and breakfast until the next water source made this somewhat of a heavy carry day.

Until I reached this point, the day was uneventful.

250 mikes walked from the Mexican border to hear marked another milestone for me this year.

It also means that I’ve height continuously further than the John Muir Trail that I did in 2020. That trail is 211 miles long +11 miles to get down to the Whitney portal at the end.

So, was that achievement behind me I continued and eventually found a nice place for a campsite.

I could’ve pushed to reach the water source at 16 miles, but after two rough days navigating the mission Creek destruction I didn’t feel like pushing myself too much this day.
