Mile 931.1 to 942.6 – 11.5 miles total hiked on PCT

I woke to some glorious color all around me. Like the sunset, the sunrise from this spot was very nice even before the sun showed itself over the mountain ridge.

After that, I packed up my tent and headed north down towards Tuolumne Meadows. It would be all downhill today. Just a very long downhill. 

Somewhere along that downhill hike, I decided I should check in at the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge to see if they had any tent cabins available for that night.

Coming off all the zero days I took in Mammoth Lakes you wouldn’t think I would need any more luxury. Luxury being a real bed, real food, a shower, and a Diet Coke. Unfortunately, there was no Diet Coke to be had anywhere in Tuolumne Meadows. 🫨Not even Pepsi! 😜

I made do with a Mountain Dew and was able to get a can of Pepsi at dinner. So, I’ll survive. 😇
