Mile 1028.2 to 1040.5 – 12.3 miles total hiked on PCT

Got some nice star and Milky Way pictures and videos from my sports camera.

The light from the sunrise was almost as good as they light from the sunset the day before. Good way to start the day.

One possible stopping point this day was Tryon Pass. It was just past one of my stopping points from 2022, Asa Lake. It would be a long haul to make it that far but I had been making a lot more progress than I did in 2022.

This part of the trail was pretty normal: Climbs, followed by descents, gorgeous scenery, and exhaustion mixed together.

I ended up at a campsite just beyond Wolf Creek. Little bit of a view, but I couldn’t make it to Asa Lake or Tryon Pass this day.
