Mile 447.5 to 454.5 – 8 miles total hiked

So, the main goal of this day was to reach Agua Dulce. This town is right ON the PCT at the 454.5 miles is the END OV PFT CA Section D and the START of section E.

But first I had to wake up and get there.

There was an interesting cave nearby my campsite so I checked it out on the way to Agua Dulce.

I had to go UNDER highway 14 through a wet, dank tunnel.

And then go though Vasquez Rocks County Park. In addition to the beautiful landscape and rock formations, being so close to Los Angeles made this area very attractive to movie and TV producers.

After enjoyable, scroll through this park, it was time to get into town.

And then at 454.5 miles I reached the End of CA Section D!

Here I would get some real food, resupply my trail food, do some equipment repair, and get some rest.

I ended up getting a Lyft into Palmdale and staying at a hotel there for a zero day.
