Mile 1051.2 to 1065.2 – 14 miles total hiked on PCT

Night and morning at Upper Kinney Lake was magic.

One interesting thing about the trail after Ebbetts pass is that a transition from a Sierra granite formation and Boulder landscape to a more volcanic landscape.

Then the landscape transitioned back to the granite formations around a big meadow area that has a bunch of lakes and ponds.
