Mile 789.6 to 791.1 – 1.5 miles total hiked on PCT

So, without the 7.5 miles hike from Onion Valley back to the PCT. This seems like a very short day. It wasn’t, of course. The hard climb up.Kearsarge Pass was more than enough to make it a long, hard day.

Once I got back to the PCT, all I wanted to do was get as close to Glen Pass as possible. I didn’t have the time or energy to actually climb over the pass this day.

I did find a pretty nice campsite on the way up, so all the effort that day was rewarded with some great views.
