Mile 994.6 to 1008 – 13.4 miles total hiked on PCT

Mile 1,000 reached!!!

Although I’ve hiked this part of the PCT before, reaching mile 1000 from the Mexican border felt really special this time.

1000 miles in 90 days on the trail. An average of 11.111111 miles per day. Not the greatest average, but I’ll take it.

I ended up camping down in the canyon near the creek. Only about 11 miles until Sonora pass.
